This is an exceptional unfired example of the classic Parker Hale made Musketoon, this rifle is almost mint condition. The original owner had two from new, one he used for shooting and this one that he had for show.
These rifled musketoons have all the sought after quality of the famous Parker Hale rifled musket reproductions and perform very well on the rage especially if lighter weight Minnie bullets such as the Lyman 575494 315 grain bullet or the Lyman 578675 405 grain bullet are used with suitably worked up charges of black powder. These loads will give excellent accuracy without punishing recoil.
This is a rare opportunity to own an almost new Parker Hale reproduction rifle.
