CZ BRNO Vz 24 Rifle S/H 8mm Calibre
Product Details
This is a fine example of the classic Czech version of the ubiquitous WW2 German K98 Mauser.
The Vz 24 was widely exported to armies in Brazil, China, Colombia, Germany, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, USSR, Venezuela, Vietnam and Yugoslavia.
This particular rifle is in very good condition with deep bluing and good woodwork for its age. The barrel is in good condition with sharp rifling. It is one of the rifles made for Romania and carries its designation “AR”. Production started in 1938 and this has the early “A” prefix. The rifles muzzle is counter bored which is a common Eastern European feature to help protect the crown of the rifling.
A very nice rifle that would grace any collection and would make an excellent shooter for Historic Military competitions.
