For the Arisaka rifle these bayonets were introduced in 1897.

This particular hooked quillon version being manufactured at the Kokura Arsenal 1936-45 or the Tokyo (Koishikawa) Arsenal prior to 1936.

Serial numbered 3052 and with the variation B, blued blade, it comes complete with the correct period frog and scabbard.

Some light surface pitting to the pommel and quillon while the blade has some scabbard wear.
